Som Mobilitat is a non-profit consumer cooperative based in Catalonia that promotes shared electric mobility as a way of making transport accessible to all segments of the population. Its model pursues three objectives: reducing individual car ownership, decarbonising everyday travel, and freeing up public space for collective uses. The cooperative now has more than 7,000 members, and the use of its shared vehicles replaces approximately 1,800 privately owned cars.
